Terms of Use

This translation is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
By creating an account or using CardRed TCG, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. The service
CardRed TCG is a free app for managing a trading card collection: inventory, purchase prices, estimated value, binders, wishlist, price alerts and optional social features. The app is provided "as is", by a private individual, free of charge.
The publisher may change, suspend or stop all or part of the service, in particular for technical, security or cost reasons. If the service is permanently shut down, players will be notified in the app at least 30 days in advance; the collection kept on the phone will remain usable as far as possible.
"First fan" offer. The first 100 accounts whose e-mail address is confirmed receive the "First fan" badge (numbered) and free lifetime access to every feature of the app, including those that may become paid later. This offer:
- is granted automatically by the server, in the order in which e-mail addresses are confirmed; it cannot be requested, bought or traded;
- "lifetime" means: as long as the account exists and as long as the publisher operates CardRed TCG; it does not cover purchases made in third-party services;
- is personal, non-transferable and has no market value;
- is lost if the account is deleted, by you or by the publisher in case of a serious breach of these terms; the spot then goes to the next confirmed account;
- does not apply to CardRed team accounts (administrators and moderators), who have their own badge and do not take a spot.
Referrals. Your referral code is your username. A referred player is "validated" once they have confirmed their e-mail address, kept their account for 7 days and added at least 20 cards. Rewards (Referrer badge, binder finishes, karma and, later, Premium perks) are granted automatically by the server, are personal, have no market value and cannot be exchanged. Creating fake accounts to refer yourself is forbidden: rewards obtained this way are removed.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and give your real date of birth.
- One account per person. Your account is personal: you do not lend, sell or transfer it.
- You keep your password secret. Anything done from your account is deemed to be done by you, unless you have reported a hack to us.
- Your username must not be offensive or misleading, nor imitate another person, a brand or the CardRed team.
3. What is forbidden
- Publishing or sharing content that is illegal, hateful, violent, sexual, harassing, discriminatory, or that infringes the rights of others (see the Community Rules).
- Using the app to sell, buy, scam, advertise or solicit.
- Trying to access other players' data, the servers or the code; bypassing protections; mass-extracting data; overloading the service.
- Creating fake accounts, manipulating votes or rankings.
- Copying, reselling or reusing the app, its design or its data for commercial purposes.
4. Your content
You remain the owner of what you share (binder titles, card choices, showcase). You grant the publisher, free of charge, the right to host it and display it to the players you have chosen, only for as long as it is shared. You alone are responsible for what you share. The publisher may remove, without notice, any content that breaks these terms or the law.
5. Prices, estimates and "What to open?": not advice
All values shown (card and product prices, collection value, gains and losses, trends, alerts, pull rates, average booster value, estimated returns, good deals) are purely indicative estimates:
- they come from third-party sources (TCGdex, Cardmarket, pokemontcgapi.com) that may be wrong, incomplete, late or unavailable;
- pull rates are unofficial averages; the content of a booster is random and no result is guaranteed;
- a displayed price is not the price at which you will actually be able to buy or sell (fees, card condition, supply and demand).
They are neither buying advice, nor financial or investment advice, nor an incentive to buy or open products. Your decisions to buy, sell or open are made at your sole responsibility. Trading cards are not an investment: their value can drop sharply.
6. Trades and sales between players
CardRed TCG is not a marketplace: the app does not allow you to pay, sell or arrange a transaction. Any trade, purchase or sale you make with someone, even someone you met through the app, takes place outside CardRed TCG, at your sole responsibility; the publisher is not a party to it and is not liable for it.
7. Your data and your backup
Your collection is first kept on your phone. The backup to your account is a convenience service: the publisher does its best to preserve it, but does not guarantee that no loss will occur.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- the service is provided without any warranty, in particular as to data accuracy, continuous availability, absence of errors or fitness for a particular purpose;
- the publisher is not liable for indirect or intangible damage (loss of opportunity, loss of data, loss of profit, financial losses related to buying, selling or opening products);
- the publisher is not liable for content published by players, nor for third-party services (TCGdex, Cardmarket, pokemontcgapi.com, Google, Supabase, Cloudflare, app stores);
- the publisher is not liable for an interruption caused by force majeure, a provider outage or a cyberattack despite reasonable measures.
These limits do not apply in case of fraud or gross negligence by the publisher, nor to bodily injury, nor to the rights that Belgian and European law guarantees you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
You agree to indemnify the publisher for the consequences of a third-party claim caused by your failure to comply with these terms or the law.
9. Suspension and deletion of an account
If these terms or the Community Rules are not respected, the publisher may, depending on the severity: remove content, turn off social features, suspend the account temporarily or delete it permanently, without notice in case of serious misconduct. You can challenge a decision at contact@cardredtcg.com.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (see Delete your account).
10. Intellectual property
The app, its name, its logo, its design and its code belong to the publisher. You receive a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use. Pokémon and the names and images of the cards belong to their owners (see Legal notice); CardRed TCG is not affiliated with The Pokémon Company.
11. Changes to the terms
The publisher may change these terms. Important changes are announced in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the app afterwards, you accept the new version; otherwise, you can delete your account.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of disagreement, first contact the publisher at contact@cardredtcg.com to find an amicable solution. You can also contact the Consumer Mediation Service free of charge (mediationconsommateur.be). Failing agreement, the competent courts are those of the judicial district of Liège, without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring the matter before the court of their own domicile.
If a clause is found to be invalid, the others remain valid.
